Siasia’s ‘B’ Eagles to boost Premier League

Twenty-seven Nigeria Premier League stars have begun another life as potential
catalyst for change in the domestic league.

The players, who are been prepared for the Obama Invitational tourney in February spent some days in Abuja before they were released to their clubs for Premier League action.

They have entered the history books as materials to battle for players in the Super Eagles under manager, Samson Siasia.

Top on the list is Valentine Nwabili, the Enyimba star, who has earned three caps under former caretaker manager, Austin Eguavoen.

Bassey Akpan, Chigozie Agbim, Chinedu Agwu, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Wasiu Sowemimo and Kenneth Omeruo.

Others are ThankGod Ike, Gege Soriola, Bartholomew Ibenegbu, Julius Ubido, Rabiu Ali, ThankGod Amaefule, Daniel Mendel, Cletus Itodo, Gbolahan Salami, Osas Okoro, Moses Ogaga and Ekigho Ehiosun.

Also at the camp were John Huan, Ejike Uzoenyi, Kabiru Waziri, Femi Balogun, Lazarus Chukwu, Stanley Okoronkwo, AbdulJelil Ajagun and Akombo Ukeyinwa.

The players will continue their grooming on Monday after playing for their clubs in the Premier League.
