Nigeria Premier League legend, Victor Ezeji, has wormed his way into
the hearts of Super Eagles boss, Samson Siasia, who has invited him to
the residential camp, in Abuja.
Ezeji returns to the Eagles set-up after cameo roles between 2003 and
2006 when he played in friendly matches and a Nations Cup qualifier
against Angola, in Luanda.
Nigeria Football Federation chief media officer, Ademola Olajire
informed maigari.blogspot.com that the most decorated NPL star will replace
last season's second leading scorer, Eugene Salami, who is in
Switzerland, on trials.
Maigari.blogspot.com understands that Siasia was impressed with Ezeji's
performance in Saturday's match day 12 Premier League tie at Kano
Pillars, where he scored his team's first goal.
However, Pillars secured an important equalizer through Victor Namo to
share the points with their visitors.
The Eagles will on Monday continue their preparation for the Green
Bowl Soccer tournament slated for the United States of America, next
month.
