Head coach of Nigeria's Under-20 team, John Obuh has invited 34 players to camp ahead of preparations for the African youth championship, slated for March 18 through April 1, in Libya.
According to the Chief Media Officer of the NFF, Ademola Olajire, the 34 players are new call-ups and will fight to be considered for competitive action against the established squad, the bulk of which is from the national Under-17 team that won silver medal at the Fifa Under-17 World Cup hosted by Nigeria in 2009.
The players are
Goalkeepers: Biodun Akande (3SC, Ibadan), Chinedu Anthony (Heartland FC)
Defenders: Tochukwu Onyemachi (Orlu Utd), Chima Ulocha (Abia Warriors), Ayuba Job (Bayelsa Utd), Zikiye Jonathan (Bayelsa Utd), James Akoto (Ansfed Utd), Effiong Ekom (Unicem Rovers), Ganiyu Ogungbe (Gateway FC), Ogochukwu Benjamin, Chimas Okas (3SC)
Midfielders: Ikenna Charles (Enyimba FC), Obama Kadiri Ahmed (Enyimba FC), Kawu Mohammed (Tornadoes), Oluwatosin Yinusa (Sunshine Stars), Chinedu Sunday (Rangers), Kelechi Okoyomo (UNTH FC), Uchenna Nwobodo (Ansfed FC), Ifeanyi Amaobi (Unicem Rovers), Eze Emeka (Rangers)

Olajire told SuperSport.com that all players are expected to report at the Fifa technical centre, Abuja on Saturday, January 8, 2011.
