The Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday evening presented Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Samson Siasia with his wonder-on-wheels Ford Taurus 2010 official car, complete with an official driver.
The short ceremony was presided over by NFF President, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, with 1st Vice President, Chief Mike Umeh also standing by. There were also chairman of technical Committee, Barrister Chris Green, chairman of finance committee, Dr. Shehu Adamu, chairman of marketing committee, Mr. Ayodeji Tinubu, chairman of referees committee, Alhaji Muazu Suleyman. The NFF Management Staff was led by Acting General Secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu, and included Deputy General Secretary (Technical), Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, Assistant General Secretary (Competitions), Dr. Mohammed Sanusi and Assistant General Secretary (Marketing), Mr. Adama Idris.
Speaking at the handing-over, Alhaji Maigari noted that the NFF has fulfilled its pledge to give Coach Samson Siasia the same first –class treatment that had been accorded expatriate coaches of the senior national team in the past.
An elated Siasia beamed widely as he stepped into the state-of-the-art machine and was driven by Maigari, before he thanked the NFF for the gesture.
“Honestly, I am overjoyed. I thank the NFF for this car and I promise that we will earn results on the field that will make everyone, every Nigerian happy," Siasia told maigari.blogspot.com.
