The conclusive part of the 2010 annual general assembly of the Nigeria Football Federation early scheduled for Tuesday, will now hold on Wednesday in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state due to the yuletide public holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
The previous annual general assembly in Abuja on August 26 only had one item on the agenda – the election of members into the NFF executive committee.
“We have no option but to move the event by one day after the federal government declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays.
We cannot go contrary to the decision of government”, said NFF acting general secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu.
SuperSport.com gathered from the NFF chief media officer, Ademola Olajire that matters to be dealt with at the conclusive session include the presentation of the consolidated and revised balance sheet and the profit-and-loss statement, approval of the financial statements, approval of the budget (for Year 2011) and discussion of proposals submitted by the members and the executive committee.
