That Samson Siasia is the Chief Coach of the Super Eagles clearly illustrates Alhaji Aminu Maigari’s support for a Nigerian coach to lead the Super Eagles.
He deserves commendation for doing everything possible to ensure a Nigerian coach gets the job.
Interestingly, the job was narrowed down to two Nigerians: Stephen Keshi and Samson Siasia. At the end of the day, Siasia got the nod to coach the Eagles.
Unlike previous NFF chairman, who openly canvassed for the employment of foreign managers, Maigari insisted the job would go to a Nigeria.
